Vintage Occupied Japan Historic Piece - Metal Crafted Tray - 1945 to 1952

If you want to own a piece of World History, a piece that dates over 70 years old, this is it. Products made in Japan and labeled “Made In Occupied Japan” where crafted in Japan between 1945 and 1952. This beautiful small serving or trinket tray is crafted of a Pewter, Aluminum or other type of Non-Metallic material. It’s nicely engraved with a raised floral design around the edges with striped and smooth squares in the base of it. The two red colored handles seemed to be a material that is coated with some type of plastic used at that time. Looking closely at those you will see some hairline cracks but that’s only due the the item being over 70 years old and you have to look close to see them. The handles are both attached under the bottom side with Flat head screws which also attest to its age. This would make a very unique conversation piece in any home, office or bar.
