Hmm. Could you give me some idea of the nature of the fur? No I’m not some screechy animal rights person. Well, not where vintage fur is concerned. The bad karma has already been and gone. Anyway, is it mink with a fox collar?? Someone stole my mink and I’m pretty steamed about it. Your coat almost looks like seal, actually. Much softer, prettier no guard hairs.

@heavensjoy The collar is mink, a little more difficult to tell what the other is. If it’s pretty heavy I would guess it’s sheared beaver, if lighter possible sheared mink however shearing wasn’t typically done back then. Beautiful coat!
