Vintage Orlon Cardigan, Rhinestones, Light Blue 50sRockabilly Sweater - Restored

What you can't see in most photos is that EVERY dark rhinestone in this sweater was replaced With new ones (because I have the rhinestones and I know how to do this), so if they look dark in photos, please ignore this, it's just the way the light hits. These stones sparkle! This vintage cardigan is softest Orlon, made popular because it was made to feel like cashmere. It has rhinestones, pearls, appliques but no beading. This has the usual styling with bracelet length sleeves and crew neck. Some of the appliques look like they may have once been pink. One button missing at very bottom. Sweet Lolita would have worn this as a tight buttoned up top. (as did most 50s ''Bad Girls'') but it was styled quite differently here, because in this shop, it's the way things are sometimes done...but not all the time..! CONDITION NOTE Slight irregularity inside of elbow of one sleeve (shown). Pilling removed, check close ups. It has been soaked.
