Vintage Oversized Alligator Clutch Bag B Altman NY with Coin Purse and Comb

This is a vintage alligator clutch from B Altman New York. B Altman was an upscale department store in NY from 1906 til1989. I would say this dates somewhere between 1940s to late 50s. It has its attached coin purse with the B Altman tag and matching comb. It measures 7 1/2 inches by 14 inches wide and about 1 1/1 inch deep. It has a snap closure and strap of matching alligator on the back to hold. It is lined in brown fabric and has 3 compartments and the coin purse is attached with heavy string. This can hold a large cell phone and whatever else you might need. So often these vintage bags could not hold much but this is an exception. Please view all photos and ask any questions.
