This vintage gown was purchased at Whitby Goth Weekend in the UK and came back to NY with me. It has a beautiful black and silver bodice which laces up the front on sturdy grommets. The long velvet skirt has a partial zipper in the front where the ribbon lacing ends. The sleeves are sheer with an elasticated puff at the top, they flare slightly and end in a point. This dress is very long, both in the torso and overall length, so I would recommend it for someone at least 5' 10" or taller (with or without heels!) You can of course get it hemmed, but also bear in mind the length of the bodice. There are no size or care tags, but I would estimate a Medium. Unlaced bust pit to pit is 17" (34"). Could be laced slightly tighter or much looser. Unlaced waist is 13 1/2" (27") The pewter bodice from the shoulder to the waist is 20" The velvet skirt is 42" Overall length is 62" Sleeve length at the point is 32" This rare vintage find is in good, clean condition and comes from a pet free and smoke free home. There are a few marks on the velvet near the bottom of the front seam.
