Vintage Pair Embroidered Black Silhouettes On White Background Marie Antoinette

Pair of vintage embroidered black silhouettes. I'm not sure what these were originally meant to be. Possibly boudoir pillows? One can detect tiny pinholes around the edge as if they once had thread running through them. They would also look wonderful if framed. Each silhouette measures roughly 13 x 11 inches as measured from raw edge to raw edge. Cotton backing and black hand embroidered thread.
