graffeinated 1) Hello metalaqua30. The Vintage T-Shirt market is World-Wide and hot - particularly on the US coast cities for High Fashion Boutiques. Japan is also a very hot market for collectors of original print Music Merchandise. Original Print - not Hot Topic knock-offs. The older the better. The age of the tee is determined mostly by the label but there are other ways to tell the age of a garment such as a Single Stitch vs a Double Stitch Hem. Single Stitch being older.

graffeinated 3) I have been in the T-Shirt biz for 50 years. I finally decided to sell off my massive collection - even my Single Stitch from the 70's. I my not get my price on those either but I will damn well get what I want or I won't agree to the sale. That applies to all my sales. See how I am not in competition with Hot Topic? The last Time I was in a Hot Topic was over 20 years ago so I could really give 2 Fs what is in HT

metalaqua30 @graffeinated Unfortunately you're not going to convince me paying 150 for an original vs 15 for a licensed repro is worth the money. The quality may be better but the resale collectible market is out of control with prices on stuff

graffeinated @metalaqua30 a simple rule: "What The Market Will Bear". I don't make the rules and I just try to protect myself. I have 3 or 4 tees that I think could get 1K or more. I'm trying to figure the best time to put them up. Stay tuned...
