Vintage Paris Couture Brooch - Alternances Paris- Dogwood Blossom Statement

RARE piece by French designers in Paris for ALTERNANCES. Very nice 3 dimensional flower brooch that makes a statement. The sculptural depiction is of a dogwood blossom. A person would think that this would be a heavy brooch but instead it is very light because it is made of resin that is covered with a layer of gold tone metal, most likely brass. Weighs 1.2 ounces, very light for its size. Secure clasp. Signed piece “Alternances Paris” - which was a High Fancy jewelry brand very popular in the 80s and now sought after by collectors of Paris couture vintage jewelry. See photos.
