Vintage Peabody House Gray Tweed Blazer & Skirt Suit Set

Gorgeous early ‘80s does ‘40s ladies' skirt suit by Peabody House. Fantastic quality vintage set! The blazer is fitted with darts and has two chest pockets and two front hip pockets (pockets are still tacked shut). One button closure. Three buttons on each cuff and spare buttons inside the jacket! The skirt hits below the knee and features stitch-down pleats that run from the waist to the hip. Pleats are open from the hip to the hem—flat waistband with back button closure. Both pieces are fully lined in gray-lavender nylon. This is an excellent quality wool blend. Dove gray with flecks of black, ivory, beige, and teeny hints of cerulean blue & red - a beautiful fabric. Made in Korea of 60% polyester 35% wool 5% other fabric.
