Vintage Peach Mini Dress Art Deco Party Prom by Miss Selfridge Size 12 UK = US 8

This is a vintage, Art Deco style dress by Miss Selfridge. It looks rather Egyptian. The color of the dress is a peach lining covered by a net overdress in a beige or tan color. That gives it an older look, and in the collar area it looks soiled but that is the beige netting causing that. The beads colors are peach, gold, clear and white. There is embroidery made to look like flowers and buds in a light pink color thread. The back is bare, a cut out look that is buttoned at the collar. There are some smaller cutouts in the front of the dress. It is a UK size 12 which means a size 8 in U.S.A. size. (see size chart in photos) It was made in India.There are large and small beads - bugle beads, seed beads, and pearl beads that have been hand sewn onto the dress. It is fully lined. That is the under-dress. There is a back zipper. MEASUREMENTS: Bust size about 34-36 Waist size about 25" - 29" Hips about 39" THE FABRIC IS STRETCHY. From Top of the shoulder seam in back to hem is about 36" This gorgeous dress would make a great Prom dress, or for Dinner, Dance or Party, a Cocktail dress, clubbing, a Date Night dress. Wear it to any event you want to stand out, be one of a kind, and get compliments galore. It is in very good condition. It was probably worn once or twice. It has been wrinkled from storage.
