Vintage Pearl luster China Co Swan 22K Gold Trim Lusterware candle holder

Here we have a charming vintage swan planter or trinket dish produced by Pearl China Co likely during the 1940s or 1950s. This pearly lusterware swan was hand painted with 22K gold trim. Our swan friend is on the small side, but is the perfect size for holding bangles on your dresser, or even vintage brooches as I have done. Bottom is marked "Pearl China Co, Hand Decorated, 22 KT gold, USA." Pearl China was a pottery company in Ohio that began in the late 1920s or early 1930s and produced beautiful lusterware pieces such as this. By 1960, it had stopped producing pottery and switched to existing as a retail only outlet until it closed a few years ago. Condition: Excellent No chips, cracks, flea bites or crazing. No gold loss that I can see. Measurements: About 5.5" (14 cm) long × 4.25" (10.5 cm) wide x 4" (10 cm) tall.
