Vintage Peerage Pearson England Embossed Brass Decorative Pitcher - I Love Lucy

Very retro MCM hammered brass antique look pitcher Made in England by Pearson Peerage. It measures 11” tall x 4.75” wide at base and 7” from the handle to the lip. Has nice patina and appropriate wear due to age and use. Would look great on a mantle or displayed with dried flowers. Not water tight. These pitchers can be seen as prop decoration in the Ricardo’s apartment in the classic sitcom ‘I Love Lucy’. Pearson Page then Peerage, were manufacturers of reproduction and original copper and brassware during 1910s-1950s. Production was intended to be good quality period reproductions and was not generally marked. There was a thriving export business to the USA, and after WWII the company adopted the trade name ‘Peerage’ which then appears on some of their products. From a smoke and pet free environment.
