Vintage peyote bird pendant necklace. Acquired from a private estate collection, this Southwestern necklace is artisan handmade from solid copper, silver tone alloy and heishi shell beads. The peyote bird, also known as the water bird, is a traditional Native American symbol of rain, lightning, thunder, wisdom, and renewal. The pendant has a nice thickness with a solid weighty feel, measuring 2.25” long and 2” wide. 25” length beads (12.5” drop). Good pre-owned condition with surface wear and patina commensurate with age.
