Vintage Pink Glass Tumbler Manhattan Pattern Depression Glass Classic Art Deco Glassware MCM Beautiful Depression glass pink 10 oz bubble footed tumbler in the handsome Manhattan pattern. Very mid-century! The Manhattan pattern of Depression glass was produced by the Anchor Hocking Glass Corporation from 1938 to 1943. It is also known as “Horizontal Ribbed” due to its distinctive design. This pattern features concentric horizontal rings or ribs, creating a layered look. These ribs are evenly spaced and give a sense of Art Deco style. The cut on this glass creates a lot of reflection and reminds me of mercury glass. I collect this pattern in clear and it’s one of my favorites. Very good vintage condition. One small flaw in one of the bubbles at the bottom of the glass - see photo #11; another flaw in photo #12 - this one could be original to manufacture, it’s hard to tell.
