Vintage Pogue’s 1940’s Women’s Two-piece Burgundy Suit

Vintage Pogue’s 1940’s women’s two-piece suit (blazer/skirt). Tailored by Handmacher. Tweed and wool burgundy fabric. Two small front pockets on the blazer. Red lined interior. Mother pearl buttons. Condition: Slight worn condition. Some small holes at the front of the skirt and on the bottom of the back (pictured in last slide) Small hole in top left back of blazer (pictured in last slide). Approximate blazer measurements: length from shoulder to bottom: 23”, sleeve length: 22” , bust: 36” . Approximate skirt measurements: waist: 30”, length: 32 ½”
