@erin3906 great question, I sweater shave all my cashmere items before shipping however please note,
Piling is normal occurrence in all cashmere, it is not considered a flaw. Piling occurs mostly along areas of friction, esp. along seams and hems.
A wrinkle is to linen as a pill is to cashmere. It’s a natural occurrence, and so just as you would iron a wrinkle, you would shave a pill off with a sweater shaver. These are inexpensive and great investment to keep with your iron
