Vintage Portrait Print of Fraulein Emilie Von Arthaber By Moritz Daffinger

I took a wonderful deep dive into the archives to find as much as I could about this lovely little girl. Her name was Emilie Von Arthaber, the daughter of a prominent Austrian textile merchant. She was born in the first quarter of the 19th century. There is actually another recognized portrait of her and her family when she is older. This portrait was painted by one of Austria's most celebrated miniature portrait painters, Moritz Michael Daffinger. There were decorative prints released for commercial purchase with Borghese stickers sometime around the middle of the 20th century. The frame is gilt wood. I have left the entire piece untouched for the lucky buyer to asses. There are missing carved beads on the inside of the frame, dust, and oxidation. She is in beautiful vintage condition. The entire piece of art is 14.5 inches tall and 12 inches wide. Wrapped and shipped beautifully.
