Vintage Power Suit

1980's power dressing at its best: rich red wool blend, distinctive cut, and a skirt with pockets. They can't ignore you in a jacket like this. The skirt has plenty of room for alterations. The waistband has some lovely details, but it could be altered if you needed some breathing room and the alteration wouldn't mess with the pockets. I have short limbs and you can see where the jacket hits on me - the perfect length. On a taller woman, this would probably qualify as a bracelet length sleeve.
