Vintage Pressed Green Peking Glass Brooch by Marvella -Signed • Faux Carved

A gorgeous pressed green glass brooch by Marvella in a bright gold-colored setting with a back as decorative as the front. Marvella was an excellent American costume jewelry company, originally founded in 1911 as Weinrich Bros and making popular high-quality costume jewelry under the Marvella brand name until the company itself was renamed Marvella in 1965. Jewelry made after 1955 includes a copyright symbol alongside the signature, as with this brooch. Earlier pieces are signed with lower-case letters and later ones in upper case. The brooch is pre-owned in beautiful vintage condition with a secure locking rollover clasp. it measures approximately 1 inches long 3/4 inches tall
