Vintage Quail Figurine Trio, Mid 20th Century

Lovely detail and design on these hand painted ceramic quail made in Japan in 1966. This set of three is quite unusual, a quick search turned up mostly pairs or just one lonely, little quail - poor thing! They are predominantly beige, but have brown, cream and taupe tones as well, simply beautiful. The largest quail is about 6" tall and the smallest is about 4" tall. I've displayed them on the dining table and, subsequently, on a sideboard. They add a peaceful aura wherever they hang out. Truth to tell, I have fun rearranging the little guys, changing up who's looking at each other and who's looking at me. Reposhing this item I purchased from @northernsky6796. Loved this little family, but we have "people" family coming to stay for a while, so the quail family is getting demoted. No, never mind!
