Vintage Rare Authentic DuJay Rickshaw Brooch Parasol Lady Rickshaw Man Moves

Often imitated, Never achieving the same quality as this beautifully made brooch by DuJay, circa,1930s. As you can see it has lost almost all of its enamel and a few small stones however the wheel still turns very well, The lady has 3 fingers and the back is stamped Pat pend. Rhodium plated. Some wear, missing almost all of its enamel, but a fairly rare find. DuJay is one of those companies that is truly rare. Their early jewelry (pre-WWII) was some of the most exquisite costume jewelry ever made and it is rarely signed. Their enameled pieces are breathtaking and their tiny pavé set stones a laborious and expensive process. They only started signing their jewelry intermittently c.1939
