Vintage- Rare! Hattie Carnegie- Woven Gold Mesh Cuff Bracelet

Vintage- Hattie Carnegie signed Woven Golden tone mesh Cuff This is a classic, never go out of style cuff bracelet. It has stuff yet flexible links to stretch for the right fit to slide over your hand and then resume its perfectly rounded shape. It has a dark gold tone finish with interwoven golden links to form a rounded shape cuff. On the inside, it has a signed cartouche which is an oval, with Hattie Carnegie written in script without the copyright symbol, which indicates that it was likely made in the ‘50s. The bracelet links are 4mm thick. I love that they are flexible, making it easy to wear. This elegant cuff is very well made and is similar in style to Carnegie’s often used of mesh in her jewelry. It’s weighted at about 86g but feels like silk on the skin without being weighed down. I rate the construction and classic style as a 10 out of 10. Note: The price is reflected by similar pieces I have seen in many reference books, including the Schiffer Hattie Carnegie Jewelry: Her life and legacy book written in 2005. Which was 17 years ago, only adding value to this piece that has seemingly not been worn and very well stored. As it continues to be. I hope that she finds a good home for a collector of couture, rare, vintage, wearable art. Look amazing at a holiday party, at work, at a boho music festival.. seriously- what style doesn’t it suit?
