Rare fabulous find. Vintage 1970s Ray-Ban L9811 Christie sunglasses feature a distinctively unique shaped - the most memorable design that you'll find in vintage Ray-Ban sunglasses. A stylish moderately oversized look that's more popular today than they were when first introduced. Notable fluid wavy temple pieces. Featuring the Bausch & Lomb Ambermatic lenses, and their photochromatic properties are infused into the glass and not a coating that will wear out or wear off. Ray-Ban logo is present as a raised metal relief on the exterior of both ear stems, and somewhat difficult to photograph- the inside of one stem is impressed - Christie / L9811 while the inside of the other stem is impressed B&L Ray-Ban USA. I do not see any mark on the lenses, as other listings also seem to omit. Preowned condition and measurements as shown. Wear is generally considered commensurate with being a vintage item but I feel that they are in - more than - very good condition Part of my collection they never worn and only stored over the decades.
