Vintage Red Acrylic Bead Necklace

This acrylic beaded necklace belonged to my aunt in the 1950s-60s. It is a beautiful true red color, with a pearlescent effect to the beads that gives them a lovely depth. It is 17 inches long, so closer to a long choker length. The clasp is silver, with minimal tarnishing on the fixtures but not the clasp itself. The clasp is a spring lever, not a hook or clip, that releases by pinching the end of the lever down and sliding it in and out of the casing. Included is a vintage paperstock jewelry box (may not be the one the necklace was originally purchased in, but sufficient for storage and transport).
