Vintage Reticulated Footed Cobalt Blue and Gold Porcelain Compote Made in Japan

This is a gorgeous vintage Dresden style reticulated white porcelain footed candy dish with a cobalt blue and metallic gold floral. This two piece pedestal compote bowl with blue flowers was made in Japan by Andrea, by Sadek. # 6702. The top and bottom are not secured as originally there was a wing nut and a thin piece of rubber in between the two pieces. The plate sets on the base It can be glued if worried about breakage. There is a raised portion of the plate that sits into the base. The blue flowers and gold detailing are bright and unfaded. It is a reticulated table centerpiece or catchall bowl, meaning it has beautiful waffle cut holes or cut outs throughout the top. 9..25 inches wide at top and 5 inches tall. Very unusual piece to find in such good condition. There is one tiny flea bite on the bowl and a line of crazing on the bottom of the bowl. See photos with pin. Otherwise, no flaws to mention.
