This rare vintage half moon compact has the original powder puff and powder mesh. The pattern consists of concentric , machined arches. Don’t know the metal composition but, It tarnishes more like silver than silverplate- Rex did both. Please zoom in to view the scratches and note that the puff has a touch of rouge on it. 2 3/4” X 5 1/2” long.

@y4tw 🦎👋Sorry, I only communicate & sell through Poshmark. This item is not ‘like new’ it is vintage (50’s) and has scratch’s as shown on the photos. There is no powder there is residue.🦎

@divine_khaos72 🤗I collected these for years but never researched them. I would guess 40’s- 50’s. Could be even earlier and some in my collection are made w/precious metals. By the 60’s covergirl was king (queen)🤣
