SOLD Vintage Richard Begay Navajo Sterling Turquoise Coral Amethyst Pendant

Offered here is a superb Native American sterling silver pendant by master silversmith, Richard Begay. The pendant features a turquoise stone from the Sleeping Beauty mine, a Pacific coral, and an amethyst. Richard Begay (deceased) had a great eye for choosing the stones that he would use in his jewelry. The turquoise used here is from one of the finest in the world, having come from the Sleeping Beauty mine in Arizona. The Pacific coral is a lovely soft pink that the photos don't do justice to. Looking at the closeup photo, you will see the coral is whitest at the bottom, which is the color pattern for Pacific coral. The amethyst has some inclusions, as Richard embraced the natural beauty of the stones he used. Small imperfections add charm to handmade jewelry. Applied raindrops and a leaf accent the gemstones and bring balance to the pendant. It's in very good vintage condition with light wear and scratches.
