Vintage Robert David Morton Dress

Rare Vintage 1970s Robert David Morton maxi dress in semi sheer fabric. Funky floral pattern, gathered waist and wrist detail. Full length sleeves, forgiving fabric, flowy and super comfortable. Fabulous for a theme event, wedding, pool party or dinner. He was the first designer to use Lycra for evening wear. He not only sold to many of the high fashion stores but also to famous individual's who would come to his shop which was located at 252 W. 37th St. in NYC. He designed his own fabric patterns. He was very much hands, did almost everything himself. Pristine vintage condition. No fading, holes or stains. Length from shoulder to hem: 52” Underarm to underarm: 16” Please note: this item is vintage 1970s and no fabric or size is listed. I’ve worn it comfortably at a size 2 and a size 8.
