Vintage Robert Zentall Abstract Flower Brooch

Zentall vintage costume jewelry became famous in 1954 when his work was featured in Vogue. The history of the company dates back to 1952, when Robert Zentall founded his jewelry company in Mount Vernon, NY. This piece dates to the the 1950’s or early 1960’s. The company ceased to exist in the 1980’s. Materials for the art nouveau flower was hand made of metal alloy and brass with what looks like ropey swirls resembling branches. Measures approximately 2 1/2” diameter. In pristine condition.
