Vintage Rochester Shoe Tree No. 4 Mohawk Shoe Trees, 10W-12M

Item details • Vintage • Materials: Metal, maple wood This set of Rochester Shoe Tree Co. maple wooden shoe stretchers are No. 4 Mohawks. The have wood handles and foot shapes, with a metal rod connecting them. Great for farmhouse decor! There are springs in the rod that compress when you push the handles towards the foot. The two pieces of the foot are also connected by a spring that compresses when squeezed. The #4s fit 10W-12M in Men's shoes. The spring adjustment is there not to stretch the shoe but to help apply pressure to avoid wrinkles in the toe box of the shoe. They are in excellent vintage condition.
