Vintage Rock Crystal Bead Long Necklace Big Teardrop Pendant Hand Wired Quartz

This beautiful vintage  Rock crystal necklace is amazing.  The necklace consists of cut rock crystal beads that are handwired.  The necklace is a nice long length and from this hangs and extremely large teardrop pendant, also Rock Crystal. Quite old and handwired, there are probably some tiny flea bite chips in here.   On one side of the pendant the point in the center has a small flea bite.  The wire appears to be copper. Rock crystal is a high quality clear quartz. The beads and pendant were tested and confirmed quartz. In ancient times, clear quartz, which is called rock crystal, was used to carve crystal balls, and people believed they could see into the future by gazing into them. This illusion was probably related to the fact that the crystal ball reflected a distorted image of the gazer, but the gem has been steadfastly equated with magical, mystical properties throughout the ages, right up until modern times. Wearing quartz crystals has been associated with balance, clarity and energy, and credited with benefiting overall health and spiritual well-being.
