Truly a Mid Century gem, this ruby red Fostoria vase in the classic coin pattern is perfectly sized and gorgeous. Fostoria produced this coin pattern from about 1969 to 1981, and it’s now discontinued. The design is iconic – fluted panels with gentle scallops at the rim and embossed Americana coins with eagles all around. The gently flared wafer stem leads to a hexagonal base. At 7 7/8” tall and 3” across it’s more than just a bud vase – it can hold a sweet little arrangement of flowers and fill. Plus the luminous red makes it perfect for many occasions – yes Christmas and Valentine’s Day, but with a special patriotic flavor that makes it perfect July 4th decor. Of course, if you’re a lover of red, it’s perfect all around. This gem is in mint condition without any issues identified at all.
