This vintage white ash wood splint picnic basket was made in New Hampshire by Peterboro Basket Company. It is a good usable size or great for a display piece. It measures about 8 inches tall, about 18 inches across top with cover down, about 10 inches from back hinges to front where you lift lid and has bent wood swing handles that rise about 6.5 inches from top of lid to top of handle. The basket has some good age to it. It's in really good condition though with no breaks, holes, or chips. It closes properly and the hinges are intact.
