Vintage ST. JOHN Purple Evening Dress, Size 4

This is a stunning, deep purple St. John Knit dress embellished with large, rectangular sequins pieces in purple and silver. These shimmering streaks are interspersed with streaks of small, silver circles. It’s really beautiful and eye catching! It has a small band collar and long sleeves. Additionally, it comes with a matching belt and a short zipper closure in back with one hook. It would be the perfect dress for an important, evening event! Made for Saks Fifth Ave. This dress has only been worn a few times and is in excellent condition. The only flaws to point out are a light scratch on the front of one side of the belt and some missing sequins pieces (area where most are missing is the very top of the shoulder). The missing pieces are hard to notice, in my opinion ( see last three pics). It is from a smoke free home. Measurements are approximate and taken laying flat. Keep in mind that with all St. John Knits there is stretch to the fabric, if needed, but it is so well made that it doesn’t permanently stretch out easily. Length from shoulder to bottom hem: 40 3/4” Armpit to armpit: about 18” Waist where belt would hit: 14” Bottom hem: 16” Hip area: about 18 1/2” Arm/sleeve: about 21”
