Vintage STAR Thread Wood Spools Star Polyester Thread - Orange and Blue

Two 100% polyester thread on wood spools. Includes one orange and one blue spool. Perfect for sewing projects or display. Located in Barnett Shoals, Georgia, this mill was built in 1887 to produce STAR thread. The mill used a large water wheel to twist cotton fibers onto spindles. The mill town grew in the 1920s and included a village of workers, families, teachers, and others. Smoke-free and pet-free home.
