The back story is Sally Von Werlhof started her western wear business in 1974 in Colorado and set the goal of making her $1million company into a $50million company so she relocated to KC to be near the American Royal. When the film Urban Cowboy was released she almost couldn't keep up with demand, then the fad declined until eventually she went out of business. Her line of women's western wear is is unique and the pieces rare, this piece included.
