Vintage Santa Claus Figure

I've always called this The Haddonfield Santa because I bought him at a gift store in Haddonfield, NJ in 1991. He's a beautiful and elegant Santa that is 14" tall and 8" wide. I honestly don't know what the construction is....the red robe is a cross between fabric and paper, fake fur trims the robe and hat, looks like a rafia-type material for the scarf and other details. I'm not even sure what the face and hands are made of; perhaps a ceramic or paper mache? Even though he's hollow inside he weighs 16 ounces. He's in very good vintage condition as he hasn't been out at Christmas for the past 10 years and before that was packed up for eleven months out of twelve ;)
