The chain has a slide lock clasp and the clasp is marked Sarah (in cursive). The opposite side of the clasp is marked PATENT 3427891. This chain can be seen on page 111 of "Identifying Sarah Coventry Jewelry 1949-2009" by Sandra Sturdivant and Shirley Crabtree, published by Schiffer Publishing Ltd. 2012.
