Vintage Satin Slip With Alencon Lace, VFG Retro 40s Pinup Lingerie

There is practically nothing left of the label in this satin slip. What's left has some blue in it, so it's a possible Lady Lynne. The length, silhouette and slight flare under hips makes this more 40s than 50s, early 50s at the newest. The lace at the neckline and hem is fine embroidered lace with cut work, more the kind you would find in older lingerie. The satin is smooth, not as shiny as newer satins. The lace appliques added with intricate care (look at the little flowers with cut out centers). Cups are molded, not darted or ruched. CONDITION NOTES: The straps look replaced and there are no strap slides, so it's no longer adjustable. You will see some hand stitches in back around the straps. No other flaws.
