Vintage Scottish Stag & Thistle Enamel Brooch

Vintage Scottish Stag’s Head Enameled Brooch. White Metal brooch with a turquoise blue enamel border. Features Scottish thistles and leaves embossed around the edges with a large stag in the center. In Scotland, the stag represents strength and endurance and was an ancient power symbol of the Celts. Secured by a pin and simple c clasp at the back. Ideal for a plaid, sash or wrap. Vintage 1960’s in very good condition with a small amount of age related wear and patina. 45mm diameter.
