Vintage Scottish mohair throw blanket

This is a vintage early 1970s "Hand Acraft" throw made in Scotland. The 70% mohair/30% wool throw blanket is in the brilliant colors of the Buchanan tartan. It is approximately 48" wide by 62" long (including the fringe). The fringe is intact and there is only one small area approximately 1/3" square (see photos) where there is a small hole which can be easily mended. It is best to hand wash (in a clean tub) and spread out on a bed to dry. The light yet warm throw is great to snuggle in whether on a chair, sofa or in bed! It comes from a pet free and smoke free home.
