This Vintage Segreti Veneziani Venezia Hand Made Bijoux Murano Glass Necklace is on beautiful condition. The necklace itself is quite stunning and heavy. It measures approximately 17.5”L. It appears to have had the clasp replaced with s more sturdy one. The pictures do not do this piece justice and I can find little to no information on Segreti Glass Company other than it is located in Venice. Murano glassmakers rose to prominence within the culture, one of the few non-nobles able to wear swords and mix with the nobility. They were not, however, able to leave the city. Through this monopoly, Venice achieved dominance that lasted until the 17th century, and during that time, Murano glass jewelry became renowned throughout the world for its perfection.
