Large, irregular or baroque semi-precious beads consisting of agate and quartz. Very popular with the Hippies of the 1960s and 1970s. "Beggar Beads" originally got their name because Agate was believed to be an attractor of wealth and. traditionally worn on necklaces by beggars. Some stones I recognize are Carnelian, Jasper.
