Vintage Set Octagonal Peacock Peony Transfer ware Porcelain Plates Made in Japan See original label on back of plates. Has a marking which I think says "Made in Japan". Made in Japan of fine porcelain with elaborate transfer ware in an Imari style featuring peacocks in a central medallion with peonies and branches. I do not know if these are food safe but I am pretty sure they are neither microwave nor dishwasher safe. These are beautiful old plates--handle with care! 7.5" diameter Condition: Excellent pre-owned condition with no known flaws or damage.
