This vintage ship bookends are hand painted. The sailing ship is a thin wood plaque that was hand painted and attached to an "L" shaped metal base with 3 screws. The waves are much thicker paint or many layers of paint, creating a textured finish. These are likely from the early 1900s. Condition: These wood and metal book ends are in great vintage condition. They are in sturdy usable condition. There are some chips and scuffs to the paint. The metal is very worn but they are still well attached. Approx.
