Vintage Signed Carved Shell Cameo in Krementz Brooch Pin Frame

This carved cameo is a quality heirloom piece signed by the artist. Note the practiced hand, and how beautifully the piece is crafted. It's in very good vintage condition. The only flaw I could find were a couple of hairline surface cracks that aren't visible unless held to the light. In my opinion, the Krementz pin setting isn't original to this cameo. While Krementz did make quality jewelry and cameos, I don't recall any of them being artist signed. Also, the shell isn't as large as the pin frame. It fits fine, isn't loose and can be worn as is. I could be wrong, but wanted to point that out. Overall though, still gorgeous!
