Vintage, Signed, Dotty Smith Scarf Slide

American Jewelry brand “Dotty Smith” (Doreen Smith Segal) began in 1976, in Lakeville, CT, and closed in 2001. Dotty’s specialty was brooches, necklace pendants, belt buckles, and scarf clips. This seashell scallop scarf slide is gold plated, and measures 4cm X 4cm. 2 slide bars on back provide many options for scarf styling. Seashell has a hook on top to be used as necklace pendant as well. Designer signature is on center back, as shown in photos. The fine craftsmanship of this superior piece is of a standard no longer available in costume jewelry today. This scarf slide is in excellent condition, like new.
