Vintage Signed Sandor Co. Hinged White Enamel Gold Tone Art Deco Bracelet Bangle This is an unusual vintage find. This Sandor bangle has a beautiful art deco design with an off white enamel paint. It is hinged with sliding box clasp. I believe that this may be pot metal. It is a silver tone metal base that has been coated with a thin gold tone layer. It is signed "Sandor Co." on the inside on a raised plaque. Some of the gold color has worn off of the metal and there are is some wear on the enamel. It likely once had a safety chain but it is missing. Measures approximately 2.75" wide. Sandor Jewelry was a costume jewelry company that was founded in New York City in 1938 by Sandor Goldberger. The brand was known for its bold and innovative designs, which often featured intricate and detailed metalwork, colorful gemstones, and enamelwork. Sandor Jewelry's designs were highly sought after during the 1940s and 1950s, and the brand's pieces were often worn by Hollywood celebrities such as Lucille Ball and Elizabeth Taylor.
