Vintage Signed Vermillion Gold Leaf Lacquerware Tray Hand-painted Bamboo Japan

This vintage vermillion - a distinct red-orange used throughout Asian art & artifacts + red and real gold leaf lacquerware tray is a beautiful piece of Japanese culture, hand-painted with bamboo designs by Master Yasuda Suitake! Complete with original box and several pamphlets included authenticating the art object’s identity. This Master artisan used a “900 year old brush stroke of Su Dongpo” to paint the bamboo design. The piece is signed on the front. Tray measures 10 5/8” sq. and just under an inch deep. This tray is otherwise in excellent condition!! Absolutely stunning how it captures the light / this is also said to bring Good Luck 🎋Imported from Japan 2022. The provenance of this item is not available, it seems vintage 20th century. A wonderful addition to any Japonica collection! This square decorative tray is a unique and exquisite example of a handmade Japanese art object.
