Broomstick style pleating is the second outstanding feature of this dress and it enhances the fantastic waist banding. The ILGWU label indicates that the dress was made between 1975 and 1992, my best reasoning suggests mid to late 80s as it has a medium sized set of shoulder pads and, of course, the broomstick texture of the material, the label says Dry Clean Only...no petroleum products to be used. The bodice is fully lined with polyester material, the long sleeves are not lined and neither is the skirt.
